The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) recently formed a project team to draft a national standard on structural and hydrologic design of permeable interlocking concrete pavements. The project team is drafting a standard in the coming months and ASCE will form a standards committee to critique and ballot the draft. This standards-making process takes about four years.
